Worship is central to the life of Grace Presbyterian.  Our Sunday worship service is centered around God’s Word and we joyfully gather together to praise God, listen to God’s Word in the reading of Scripture and a time of contemplation including a message, sing both contemporary praise music as well as our favorite older hymns, praying together including the prayer Jesus taught us to pray, The Lord’s Prayer, and sharing a time of celebrations and concerns; sharing with each other prayer requests, celebrations, and sorrows.  Grace is also blessed with a talented and dedicated music director and a wonderful choir that enhances our worship with their offering of music. 

 

The Grace family celebrates the Sacrament of Communion at least once a month.  We have an “open table” which means that we welcome all who trust in Jesus to share this special meal; you do not need to be a member or even a Presbyterian.  Grace does not have a “dress code.” We welcome you in your jeans or in your Sunday best, come as you are, not as who you think you need to be to attend church.  Our goal is to welcome you as a child of God and to treat you as “one of the family.”

 

Grace offers children and youth Sunday school classes on Sunday mornings and an adult class after worship every Sunday.

 

During the year we observe special periods of the Christian year with unique worship services including Christmas Eve Candlelight Service, Ash Wednesday Service, Maundy Thursday Seder Meal, Good Friday Service, and our Celebration of the Resurrection Easter Service.
